![]() ![]() The movie was Meatballs and Tex Arcana was first and Draggor was second. So here's to all your game dev's out there that make great games to play! If ROTT is a hit then you've influenced the AAA developers to bring back the fun! I've bought non-AAA titles instead (indie games, small studios, etc). I haven't bought a AAA release PC game since DNF (released over a year ago) just because I'm not really interested in story over gameplay, I'd rather have a great time playing the game (DNF I did). Well, PeeWee let me know about a month or so ago there's going to be a new Rise of the Triad game, one of my favorite shooters (the LAN messages about the other players being on shrooms was always classic). I knew it wasn't like Doom, Duke or Wolf3D, it had to many non-shooter conventions (especially the “locking” you in a specific area until everything is dead) but it was like Smash TV, just FPS & more open. I didn't come to this conclusion until I played SS3. The Serious Sam series (I'm convinced) is actually based around the old arcade shooter Smash TV. How many of you like “old school” shooters? I don't mean ones that are throwbacks (like Painkiller), I mean actually ones that are oldschool shooters, ala Doom, Duke 3D, etc. Overdose showing off some work Ĥ:10 PST | | Print News | Category: Quake GPL Wednesday, 22 August, 2012 – Planet Quake News PeeWee gets some typing time with the Q2 ChaosDM vixen, TrixieMoo. I got a chance to interview Kai-Li from the World of Padman team. See what the citizens of Skyrim are up to once the sun goes down in this fileblog. The NEW Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Demo v2.0 is your way to check out the hottest and newest Quake action with all the features of the latest version of the game including the new Training Mode! More > Just fill us up with crunchy Quake goodness! More > Make them yourself or submit a great work of Quake art you love. HUGE sounding / stereo panned weapons, deadly new enemy sounds, toned down yet dark ambient sounds, and epic platform. Additionally, I have created lava nail/multi-rocket boxes for DoE/MP2 (based on ijed's boxes with Rogue skins). The mighty Planet Quake is always hungry for the latest and koolest Quake files! Be it the ever classic Quake 1, the Strogg infested Quake 2, the deadly arenas of Quake III or beyond, we want those files. EpiQuake is a new sound mod for Quake 1 which has replaced around 90 of Trent Reznors sound design work with new original recordings bringing quake up to date by giving the sound an overall modern vibe with some epic flare. Ijed's ammo/health boxes from RRP had to be realigned since the models were centered while the ID1 versions had their origin in one of the corners. The mod includes: One map (roughly 30 minutes of game play) 5 Quake monsters: Quake Zombie Fiend (Demon) Scragg (Wizard) Vore Shambler Quake weapons: Axe Shotgun Super Shotgun Nailgun Super Nailgun Grenade Launcher Rocket Launcher Lightning Gun (not included in the map because of broken sounds. "Retro Jam 1+2" (backpack, projectiles, Quad, pentagram, keys) and "Rubicon Rumble Pack" (health/ammo boxes) These are mostly coming from existing addons involving the modelling talents of ijed and sock, namely I have included some improved items besides the monsters which are currently available. Version 1.3 of the Authentic Model Improvement Pack is available. My previous commit (v1.2) really shouldn't stay, especially since it doesn't contain what it's supposed to and has stuff in there for which the people who made it haven't been credited in the readme file. Unfortunately, I am unable to delete files from Quaketastic after upload. ^^ I will also remove the PK3 version again from my Mega share since it's not needed, the. Seems that the link on the front page has been updated, so this has been taken care of.
